Begin a conversation.

Whether you’re reaching out with a question, a speaking invitation, a media inquiry, or a collaboration idea, thank you for taking the time to connect. Many meaningful conversations and partnerships begin with a simple note. Our team reads every message with care and genuine attention, and we do our best to respond as thoughtfully and promptly as possible.

If something in this work resonates with you or you’re exploring a way we might collaborate, you’re warmly invited to share a few words about what you have in mind.

Tend The Terrain: Notes From The Field

Some of the most meaningful insights in medicine do not begin in a clinic room or inside a research paper. They begin in reflection. Through my writing on Substack, I share conversations about health, biology, healing, and the human experience that often sit just beneath the surface of clinical care. These reflections explore illness, resilience, metabolic health, and the seasons of healing while inviting a wider lens on what it means to tend the terrain. They are not lectures or protocols, but reflections shaped by my experiences as a physician, researcher, teacher, and patient.

If these conversations resonate with you, you are warmly invited to read along.

For Organizations, Conferences, and Communities

The Terrain Of My Work

Over the years I’ve been invited into conversations with organizations and communities exploring new ways of thinking about health, healing, and the systems that support life.

If you’re creating work that is shaping the future of health and would like to explore a collaboration, teaching opportunity, or shared conversation, I welcome the invitation. I especially enjoy partnering with those interested in terrain, metabolic health, regenerative systems, and whole-person care.

Terrain-Based Care

Health does not exist in isolation. Terrain-based care examines the internal and external environments shaping biology, including metabolism, immune resilience, toxins, lifestyle, and the conditions that support health to emerge.

Metabolic And Mitochondrial Health

Energy production is foundational to healing. This work explores how metabolism and mitochondrial function influence resilience, recovery, and the body’s ability to adapt under stress and complex illness.

Environmental And Lifestyle Medicine

Our biology responds continuously to the world around us. Food, light, sleep, movement, stress, and environmental exposures all shape health outcomes and long-term physiological patterns.

Regenerative Systems

Human health and ecological health are deeply connected. Regenerative systems explore the relationship between soil, food systems, microbial ecosystems, and the biological resilience of communities.

Rhythm As Medicine

Biology moves in cycles. Circadian rhythm, hormonal patterns, seasonal shifts, and nervous system rhythms influence healing capacity, metabolic stability, and the body’s ability to restore balance.

Whole-Person Care In Complex Illness

Complex illness requires a broader lens. This approach integrates biological, environmental, metabolic, emotional, and relational factors involved in complex illness.

This work is about building a relationship with your terrain, using science and data as a guide rather than a dictator.
